‘Pink Menu’ for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Venturi’s Table Corporate Cookery Centre Launches a ‘Pink Menu’ for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Throughout October, companies booking a gourmet cookery experience at Venturi’s Table as a staff treat or innovative client event can cook from a ‘pink menu’ and help raise vital funds for breast cancer research. Venturi’s Table will donate 10% of all ‘pink menu’ bookings to Breast Cancer Campaign in order to help fund innovative, world-class research to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure. In honour of the signature colour of breast cancer awareness, the ‘pink menu’ features delicious Italian dishes which either include pink ingredients or turn pink as they are created. Corporate chefs cooking from the menu will be able to try their hand at making pink beetroot tagliatelle, will be taught the secrets of prawn and brandy risotto and be able to indulge in fresh strawberry jelly with cream and mint.

A ‘pink menu’ corporate cookery experience at Venturi’s Table, running throughout October, costs £120 per person. For every person taking part in the ‘pink menu’ cookery experience, Venturi’s Table will donate £12 to Breast Cancer Campaign – the bigger the group, the more money will be raised! Companies should call 020 8875 7488 or visit www.venturis-table.com for more information or to place a booking. The price includes a three course gourmet meal, half a bottle of wine per person, introductory drinks and canapes, an embroidered pink ribbon apron and goodie bag with ‘pink menu’ recipes.

During the Venturi’s Table ‘pink menu’ cookery experience, businesspeople will create a delicious three course meal in a beautiful, welcoming environment and enjoy it together, around the table. Participants will be welcomed into the cookery centre’s stunning Sicilian or Milan kitchens with a glass of pink prosecco and given a sneak preview of the food they will be creating from scratch. Modelled in the style of a stunning Chelsea home, the kitchens are equipped with over £152,000 worth of luxury cooking and refrigeration equipment from luxury kitchen brands Sub Zero and Wolf. The cookery experience will last four hours with an emphasis on fun, relaxation and enjoyment. Rather than mindless amounts of chopping or arm-straining mixing participants will be invited to ‘sip and stir,’ enjoying fine wines as they cook. At the end of their session, hungry, fully relaxed teams will sit down together and are served the gourmet food they have created.

Venturi's Table is the UK's first, dedicated Corporate Cookery Centre. The custom-built centre in London’s Wandsworth Town exclusively offers cookery based events for the UK's top business professionals in state-of-the-art kitchens. The purpose of the cookery experiences at Venturi’s Table is not solely about providing attendees with cookery instruction. Instead, the events use the process of cooking and sharing delicious food as a way for companies to develop professional relationships, spice-up client entertaining, motivate and encourage under-pressure teams and inspire best performance. For centuries, families have used the kitchen and the dining table as a way to bring people together and help people feel part of something special. Venturi’s Table applies these principles to working life. Since opening in 2005 the cookery centre has hosted many impressive business brands including Microsoft, Selfridges, Apple, GSK, Ebay, WPP, Norton Rose, PwC, Tesco, Barclays, Sony, KPMG and Coca Cola…to name a few.
