Cookery Challenges

If you are looking for a cooking event with a more competitive edge we can tailor our hands-on cookery experiences so that teams or individuals are pitted against each other. Larger groups can be split between our two kitchens or teams can be given the challenge of cooking the best course for dinner. We also offer a unique Masterchef-inspired cookery challenge, “Cooking doesn’t get tougher than this,” which gives participants the chance to try their hand at the famous invention test using a set of mystery ingredients.

How it works

Business people enjoying a “Cooking doesn't get tougher than this” event will be welcomed into one of Venturi’s Table’s stunning kitchens with a glass of prosecco and a selection of homemade canapes. The group will then be split into small teams and given a selection of ingredients with which to create a main course or dessert in just one hour. At the end of the cooking time the best dish will be judged by the centre’s head chef with members of the winning team awarded a prize. The group will then sit down to enjoy a two course, homemade Italian meal accompanied with Italian wine.

Event timings

“Cooking doesn’t get tougher than this” events are three hours long and timings can be designed to suit each client. Morning and evening slots are the most popular, allowing teams to work towards an hour long lunchtime or evening meal.

A bespoke, business approach

The approach of Anna, Letizia and their team is always flexible, to fit in with the participants’ needs. Menus are designed individually for each group or team, bearing in mind food sensitivities.

Meeting spaces are available, (subject to availability), and we can provide basic presentation equipment.
