Birthday Parties

Venturi’s Table offers indulgent, cooking parties as a delicious and extra-special way to celebrate landmark birthdays or other celebrations. With private use of one of the cookery centre’s gorgeous kitchens (regularly used by celebrity chefs as their own ‘tv kitchen,’) and led by a team of expert chefs, birthday groups cook authentic, Italian recipes together while sipping Sicilian wines and then sit down around the table to enjoy the delicious Italian food. This unique birthday party combines five-star attention to detail (even the ceramics were chosen to match each kitchen’s individual aesthetic) with the warm, relaxed atmosphere of an Italian family meal.

How it works

Party groups will be welcomed into the cookery centre’s Sicilian or Milan kitchens with a glass of prosecco and homemade canapes as they meet their own team of chefs and waiting staff. Following their introduction the party will take part in a hands-on cookery session using ingredients sourced from specialist Italian suppliers to make their own, bespoke menu.

The emphasis is on fun, relaxation and enjoyment. Rather than mindless amounts of chopping or arm-straining mixing, guests are invited to ‘sip and stir,’ enjoying fine wines as they cook in a state-of-the-art kitchen. At the end of their session, hungry and fully relaxed, the party will sit down together and be served the gourmet food they have created. At the end of the party, your guests will be given a copy of the recipes they have cooked and the birthday boy or girl will receive a special gift of a copy of Anna Venturi’s recipe book ‘Secrets from an Italian kitchen.”

For a more challenging twist we can also offer Masterchef-inspired cookery events for birthday parties. “Cooking doesn’t get tougher than this,” as participants get the chance to try their hand at the famous invention test using a set of mystery ingredients.

Event timings

Birthday parties at Venturi’s Table last three hours and timings can be designed to suit each client. Morning and evening slots are the most popular, allowing the party to work towards an hour long lunchtime or evening meal.
