This year, the Crème exhibition at Olympia will see the creation of the most valuable piece of spinach and ricotta ravioli ever! The Venturi’s Table ‘Ravioli Challenge’ will invite exhibition visitors to try their hand at making homemade ravioli with the best of the show winning a cookery experience worth almost £2,500! At the end of each show day the most perfect piece of pasta will be in the running to win this delicious prize and will also win a signed copy of Anna Venturi’s cookery book ‘Secrets from an Italian Kitchen.’
The Venturi’s Table ‘Ravioli Challenge’ will be running from stand number 2101 from the 13th of May until the 15th May at the Crème show, Olympia. Entry is free and all Crème visitors are eligible to create one piece of ravioli each. Expert Venturi’s Table chefs will be on hand to assist ravioli novices and the overall winner will be judged by the centre’s Managing Director, Anna Venturi.
Venturi’s Table Corporate Cookery centre offers businesspeople the chance to cook a gourmet three course meal from scratch in state-of-the-art kitchens, which they then enjoy around a table. The polished cookery experiences offer a unique form of indulgence for hard-working businesspeople in the atmosphere of a homely and comforting kitchen. The Venturi’s Table approach, a combination of Mediterranean warmth and Milanese style has struck a chord and since the centre expanded in 2005 it has hosted some of the world’s top companies including Microsoft, Coco-Cola, Apple, Google and Sony…to name a few!
Cooking experiences last four hours with an emphasis on fun, relaxation and enjoyment. Rather than mindless amounts of chopping or arm-straining mixing participants are invited to ‘sip and stir,’ enjoying fine wines as they cook in a stylish environment. At the end of their session, hungry, fully relaxed teams sit down together and are served the gourmet food they have created. Corporate groups can choose classes from the centre’s classic Italian, Indian or Japanese menus and an optional wine tasting is available to make the experience more complete.
